MY CUSTOM BIONICLE PROJECTS AND PRODUCTS

I have had many things that I have done over the course of my time with lego and Bionicle as a hobby. This is a page of the custom items I have made for myself and for my store! I love experimentation, and this page is a great show of that!

RESIN CASTING

Resin masks are a very manual process! It is also pretty expensive. But they can make very neat final results!

Multiple light blue silicone molds with resin dripped on them, and a resin cup with stir stick.

Example of a custom resin mask made by me. Click HERE it to see the previous resin masks that I have done!

ELECTROPLATING

REPLICA MASKS

This process includes painting a part with a conductive paint, then using electricity and metal salt solutions to deposit a layer of metal onto the surface of the object. This makes the parts very nice looking and, gives them a nice weight.

A metallic LEGO piece resembling a robot or mechanical head, placed on a grey LEGO baseplate.

My most recent venture is 3d design! I have designed several items to be resin 3d printed! Click on the picture to see the files for this specific sword for sale already!

A futuristic, metallic helmet with black and copper accents and a curved, transparent face shield.

Here are those parts printed out and being used! These were printed on a resin 3d printer and then painted! Very happy with howt hese came out!

INJECTION MOLDED ACCESSORIES

These pieces are either sourced as excess from factories overseas, or I have had them produced in bulk quanitites!

These are peices that I have had a hand in having created through the whole process! We’re slowly going through and getting more made over time! So far, only g1 masks. They can all be found HERE

COPYCAT PARTS

These parts are sourced from various factories! I have tested all of them, and they all are compatible with LEGO. Thankfully bootleg parts have gotten much better over the past decade or so, and there are much more solid plastics being used. Find them HERE.
